A global citizen, raised abroad in multiply countries, Andres is a passionate advocate of innovation and design thinking in the pursuit of building entrepreneurial capacities in all of us. His career has evolved from being a participant in the buildout of the internet, to advising organizations how to innovate in the digital era. He has built and managed innovation capacities in corporate, startup and consulting domains. He is also a passionate car guy in love with car design. As a side gig, he photographs high-end cars for inline auctions and record keeping. His work can be found on his website. His passion for innovation began in 2006 when he co-founded the first digital innovation lab for a $1 billion business unit of Deutsche Telekom. There he built global products via innovation management and design thinking best practices. His industry leading efforts have been recognized via collaborations with universities including UNAM (Mexico), GMU, USC Marshall and invitations to speak at prestigious organizations such as The Milken Institute, UNDP and Frost & Sullivan. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor at George Mason University where he teaches courses in Innovation Management and Design Thinking Strategies. Andres holds a Master in International Business, a BS in Finance and an AA in Liberal Arts in addition to multiple certifications in Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design. He currently completing a book focused on the impacts of innovation and entrepreneur-based ecosystems on organizational cultures. He resides in Alexandria, VA, in the Washington DC, USA Region.
