New to the world or Porsches (former BMW enthusiast) I bought my '99 996 C4 in 02/20 and never regretted the purchase one second. Previous owners had done some "upgrades" to the car by installing a supercharger and Eibach springs on the factory shocks (???). I have since installed new Bilsteins B8s with H&R springs which improved not only handling but looks by raising the car by almost an inch. Currently in the process of removing the supercharger and bringing back the car almost to specs by installing the performance IPD plenum and semi-rigid engine mounts. The IMSB was replaced by a previous owner. I intend to run a few autocross and HPDE events. The car has now just under 100k miles and I intend to drive it another 100k. I consider myself extremely lucky to own such a magnificent piece of engineering.
